Poul Lange is a Danish illustrator, graphic designer, photographer, fine artist, and children's book creator. He lived and worked in New York for over 20 years before relocating to Los Angeles in 2013. In Europe he is best known for his book jacket designs for writers such as Siri Hustvedt, Paul Auster, Charles Bukowski, Ernest Hemingway and Anne Rice. His collage based illustrations has been printed in The New York Times, Boston Globe, GQ Magazine, et al.


His collages has been shown in galleries in Copenhagen, New York, Nashville and Los Angeles. Original artwork and prints available at Marie Baldwin Gallery

Lange's children's book The Book of Holes (2006), which he wrote and illustrated was published in Denmark and was chosen as one of the year's 50 best designed books by American Institute of Graphic Arts (AIGA).
